Structural Adequacy Assessment of an Existing Building Studies - Constructions January 2012 Ioannina This concerns an existing ground-floor structure with a reinforced concrete load-bearing system. A structural adequacy study of the existing construction was carried out in order to add an additional floor. For the assessment, core sampling and rebound hammer tests were performed.
