Building Identity

(The Building Identity is a digital file that includes all the data and documents describing the legal and technical status of a property, as required by current legislation)

It is mandatory for all buildings and individual properties (apartments, shops, offices, etc.) and is required in the following cases:

  • Property sales and transfers (required by notaries and the Land Registry)
  • Inclusion in development or renovation programs (e.g. “Save – Upgrade” programs)
  • Issuance or renewal of building permits
  • Finalization of the legalization process of unauthorized constructions (completion of Law 4495/2017 procedures)

The file is created and updated by a certified engineer and includes:

  • Building permit information
  • Floor plans
  • Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
  • Structural and architectural drawings
  • Legalization documents (if applicable)
  • Inspection report confirming compliance with urban planning legislation

Our office undertakes the collection, verification, and submission of all required documentation to complete and issue the Building Identity Certificate quickly and efficiently.
